How these are written
Every note starts from a number this site produced itself: a period sample, a platform field that was read on a stated date, or the output of one of the calculators with the inputs shown. Nothing is written from a comparison article, and no figure is carried over from another site.
The structure of each note is chosen to fit its subject rather than to fit a house template. Some are step sequences, some are field dictionaries, some argue a single point from several directions. That is deliberate: a set of forty articles that all run introduction, three points, table, conclusion is the pattern this ledger is trying not to become.
When a note is corrected, the change goes on the site record with the date. The note keeps its original publication date and gains a modification date, so a reader can see both when it was written and when it last changed.
