Privacy notice
In force from 2026-09-29. This notice describes what happens to information when you use this site. It is written to be read in full rather than skimmed, because it is short.
The short version
This is a static site. It has no accounts, no logins, no comment system and no forms that submit anywhere. The calculators and the link resolver run entirely inside your browser: whatever you paste into them is processed on your device and is never sent to this site or to anyone else.
What is collected
Nothing you type. The link resolver, the sheet column mapper, the scorecard and the calculators all work in the page. Their inputs are not transmitted, logged or stored. The consequence is that nothing is saved either: if you close the page, the reading is gone, which is why each tool offers a copy button.
No cookies from this site. The site sets no cookies of its own and does not use local storage to identify you. There is no advertising network, no social plugin and no embedded video or font service.
Ordinary server records. The site is served by a hosting provider, which keeps standard request logs for security and reliability — typically the requested address, a timestamp, a user agent and an approximate location derived from the network address. Those logs belong to the provider’s infrastructure rather than to this site, and they are not used here to build profiles or to follow anyone between sites.
Third parties you reach from here
Some links lead to other sites: platform pages on a directory, source listings on marketplaces, and public sources named on platform entries. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s site, and their notice applies rather than this one. Some of those links carry a source marker so the destination can tell where the visit came from; the marker contains no information about you beyond the fact that a visit came from this site.
A small number of images on the period records are loaded from the directory’s own image host. Loading such an image means your browser contacts that host directly, which is visible to it in the ordinary way. Images are marked so that your browser can cache them, and no identifying parameter is added by this site.
Your choices
Because the site holds no personal data of its own, there is nothing here to request, correct or delete. If you write to the correction address, your message will be read and used to handle the report; it will not be added to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list.
If you prefer not to load images from another host, blocking third-party images will not affect anything except the appearance of the period records; every figure on those pages is text, not an image. If you prefer not to run client-side JavaScript, the articles, the ledger, the period records and the method page all work without it. Only the calculators need scripting, and they are the only part that stops working.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and it collects no information from anyone regardless of age. Nothing here requires an account, an email address or any other identifier.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it and the change is recorded on the site record. Material changes are described rather than swapped in silently. Questions about this notice go to corrections@acbuy.mobi.
